On Friday September 29 the gates opened to the 21st year of the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival in Golden Gate Park San Francisco, CA. This festival is a rousing three day live music celebration of bluegrass , country, soul, folk, Appalachian and more.
One morning a few years ago I put my camera to work capturing moments in the performance of the Go To Hellman band. The musicians are all members of the Hellman family whose patriarch Warren Hellman started and continues to fund the festival. I have a friend in this band. these images transport me to that day.
El viernes 29 de septiembre las puertas se abrieron para el vigésimo primer año del Festival Hardly Strictly Bluegrass en Golden Gate Park San Francisco, CA. Este festival es una emocionante celebración de tres días de música en vivo de bluegrass, country, soul, folk, Apalaches y más.
Una mañana hace unos años puse mi cámara a trabajar capturando momentos en la actuación de la banda Go to Hellman. Los músicos son todos miembros de la familia Hellman cuyo patriarca Warren Hellman comenzó y continúa financiando el festival. Tengo una amiga en esta banda. Estas imágenes me transportan a ese día.
